Under the direction of the site's editor, the intern will produce insightful, informative blog posts, conduct and transcribe interviews, and assist in the site's ongoing outreach, traffic driving and social media campaigns. All of the site's content is intended to help musicians, business professionals, and amateurs alike thrive in a post-label world. This internship requires a commitment of three days per week. A daily stipend of $25 will be provided.

	Assistant Editor for an Online Lifestyle Magazine SmashTube, an LA-based digital media and entertainment producer, is launching a top quality, comprehensive online news-style magazine within four months. Think the “New York Times/Vanity Fair” model with a dedicated “lifestyle-centric” focus -- a credible, critical mass of relatable, smartly-articulated content, communities and experts with relatable points of view to constructively “provoke” popular culture thought, discussion and engagement. We seek an organized, articulate and enthusiastic Journalism-related student to work directly with the Editorial Management and support: designing content/media layout, developing in-house tools and procedures to support the publishing processes, sourcing writers and publishers, editorial protocol: fact-check, proof read, copy assistance, and building content provider relations. Work may be done remotely coupled with a weekly conference call meeting. The position requires a commitment of 7 hours minimum per week. And candidates may be eligible to transition to full time, competitive salary upon the launch of the site.
