Work with a team of highly skilled professionals who are also doing pro bono work to help a local nonprofit increase its impact while gaining visibility in the nonprofit sector. As a Taproot Foundation volunteer, you will have the chance to work with a nonprofit organization in the LA area specializing in one of the following issue areas: arts, education, environment, health, social services. The Taproot Foundation lets you "give what you know" so you can make the strongest impact on your local community while networking and growing professionally. We are currently looking for seasoned marketing executives to join our award-winning pool of professional volunteers. Marketing Director, Education Business
This person will be responsible for creating and executing the “Free to Fee” strategy for the Education Business inside Global Marketing. They will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and will be a change agent driving revenue growth by selling education to clients in the areas of clinical, medical, product, performance and/or business training. The ideal person has built a training strategy that drives incremental revenue in a technology-based company. This person will manage the user community of Shadow Cities. You will act as a communication hub between our users and our game development team, making sure the voice of the users is heard within the development team, and that the users know what’s upcoming from the development team. You will manage new user acquisition. You will execute the marketing campaigns that aim to drive new users to the game, for example performing Facebook and Google adword marketing campaigns. You will manage product PR, you will be responsible for coordinating relationships with game review sites, blogs and forums.
